  • Easter Funday at Hardwick Park Centre, Hardwick. Enjoy an Easter trail around the ponds, themed crafts and activities. Chocolate prize for all entrants. 11 am- 4pm 22 March 2008.
  • Meet the Butler Tour, Sudbury Hall. Learn 'what the Butler saw' and experience the Hall through the eyes of Mr. Kirton, Butler to the Vernon family in the 1880s. Tours free to National Trust members. Non members should retain their tickets to gain re-admittance to the Hall. 12.15pm 27 March 2008.
  • National Park Authority Rangers lead over 250 free guided walks each year. Their knowledge of this special place is inspiring – all are experienced walk leaders and qualified first aiders. Some rangers specialise in botany, birds and even white mountain hares. There are walks and events for all including: families, wheelchair users, people new to the countryside and experienced walkers.Things to bring:Most of the walks and events will take all day so do bring:
    • food and drink for the whole day
    • warm/waterproof clothing in winter or sun-protection in hot weather.
    • suitable footwear - walking boots or flat, comfortable shoes.
